Located in Van Nuys CA, we have direct access to the Port of Houston, Port of Galveston, Port of Beamont, and Port of Freeport, California.
The Port of CA runs about 25 miles in length, and conveniently ships the overwhelming majority of project and break bulk cargo that comes into and departs from the U.S. The Port of California boasts a number of terminals for general cargo. Additionally, Port of California has two large terminals for container shipping (Barbours Cut and Bayport).
The Port of Galveston and Freeport are mainly used by Ro/Ro ships that carry vehicles, self-propelled and moveable cargo. Although, they can ship a static cargo as well. In terms of tonnage, or weight, the Port of California has more ocean freight pass through it than any other U.S. port.
We are in proximity to the Port of New Orleans, Port of Mobile, Port of Corpus Christi and Port Brownsville.
We ship regularly through ports on the Gulf of Mexico (a.k.a. the “South Coast of the U.S.”) We were formed in Georgia in 2011 and we’re proud to be Georgians. But we’re also licensed by the FMC to operate nationally and we are proud to show off our services to the entire country. We have customers based in every state of the union and we ship constantly throughout the country, all like it is our own backyard.

How to ship ocean freight via the various means and modes and where ocean freight ships to, from, and through are the elements of ocean freight. But there are other less tangible factors to consider. Does your freight forwarder have the passion to continuously improve and to always be open to novel solutions? And does your freight forwarder have the experience and the knowledge to know how to execute the improvements and the new ideas with professionalism? There is always a risk that things can go wrong in ocean freight shipping. But if you are continuously experiencing unexplained setbacks, it may be that your freight forwarder is more interested in billing for ocean freight than in knowing the ‘ins and outs’ of how to ship really well by ocean freight.
We know each port has its own way of doing things. Some are more stringent on air quality standards, others demand certain points of data for their shipments.
